SKFAB coordinates and manages risk and loss-prevention measures on behalf of its owner municipalities, with the focus on preventing arson and water damage. This work is conducted in networks between the owner municipalities and is characterised by a high level of participation in the development of working methods.
Loss-prevention work includes keeping a check on incidents and claims for the municipalities and companies. SKFAB therefore provides an online claim reporting system, SIV, to make it simpler for users and to improve the IT architecture.
The purpose of Risk Management initiatives is to reduce claims and create safe and secure municipalities and activities.
